My name is Ryan and I'm a personal trainer, physiotherapist and fitness coach. I'm not a personal trainer because I want to help people lose weight... I'm a personal trainer because I want to empower people to feel like the best version of themselves and to live their best lives.
I'm a Masters student studying rehabilitation while I work in the health & fitness industry. I am an entrepreneur and I started my own company in 2020. I found my love for this field during my studying of physio and started Ryan Armour Training upon arriving in Helsinki.
My perspective on pretty much all things has changed within the past few years and I now aim to live a more natural and care-free life. I plan to raise my kids to enjoy every opportunity in life they have, to love the outdoors, to travel the world, to be kind to people, but also know how to throw a punch, if needed.
I love it when a client comes to me and says they "can't" do something. And then they smash it. That's why you're never going to hear me tell you not to eat "naughty" things or not to go to Zumba because it's not lifting weights.. I'm going to encourage and support you to do whatever you ENJOY and to help you reach your goals and feel awesome! I'm gonna advise you on calories and protein and resistance training... but around that let's just have a laugh while working out? Because life's hard enough isn't it!!
I prefer beaches over mountains, tea over coffee, enjoying all foods over strict diets and love over fear.
